THE VINTAGES is a Ramones styled brazilian punk rock band,formed on the year 2000.They have done many shows with such important bands like Marky Ramone and The Intruders,Carbona,Zumbis do Espaço,Forgotten Boys,Staples,Mukeka di Rato and many others.In 2001 they recorded a demo tape called “I´m Going To The Punk Rock Party”,and in the following year a self-titled full lenght album also came along,with 15 own songs,but some time later the band broke up,and by calling up for a new lead singer they could reform in 2005,so in the begining of 2006 they recorded a brand new album called “Get Out” with 15 tunes.
Playing as much shows as possible THE VINTAGES, try to honor the retro sound,with influences of some old Rock N´Roll legends like Chuck Berry ,Buddy Holly and The Beach Boys,mixed with a really well known Ramones/Queers/Screeching Weasel way out.
