    .. .. .. ...... .... .. .. .. ...... .... .. .. .. .. .... The Vinyl Plane is a hard rocking, five-piece band, from Long Island, New York. Originally starting 2 years ago the band was called: The Headie Berrie. The band then underwent some reconstruction in the summer and winter of 2009 to form what is now The Vinyl Plane. .... The Obenauer brother's dual guitars create an eclectic sound, founded by their influential roots in The Black Crowes and Nebula. Their long history of playing together as brothers gives them excellent re pour with each other on stage. Dave's commanding vocals, epic stage presence, and meaningful lyrics, supported by his skillful harmonica playing, develop a powerful relationship between the band and his audience. Always down for a good time, you can usually chat him up by the bar before/after shows. These three represent the original Headie Berrie members. Joe and Brendon joined in the mid summer and early winter of 2009 (respectively) and they compose the rhythm section into a thick foundation with celebratory accents and remarks, that combine to make the band's "heart and soul". Although they've had a short time to build on it, fans are already starting to point out how "cohesive" they are. .... T.V.P. strives to communicate their stylistic approach by bridging the gap in generations. As many younger fans compare their unique sound to The Black Crowes, Pearl Jam, & Drive By Truckers; it is also widely, if not more so relatable to the throwback classics such as Led Zeppelin, Humble Pie, & Cream. .... The Vinyl Plane is heavily experienced in the live music scene, performing at over 75 venues in the Northeastern U.S. They have played such respected/famous venues in New York such as Mulcahy's Pub & Concert Hall (Wantagh & Centereach), Kenny's Castaways (Manhattan), and The Knitting Factory (Manhattan/Brooklyn). Stretching their wings to Philadelphia, PA (Love Park), Allentown, PA (Crocodile Rock Cafe), New Rochelle, NY (Iona College), Rochester, NY (Inn on the Lake at Canindaguia), all over Long Island/NYC, NY and has plans to continue to until we're playing close enough for you to see us!
