About me:

We are the Vinyl Vendettas. An all girl collective of disco DJs based in Wales, who’ll rip it up on the festival stage and shake it down at your house party.

United in 2005 by a passion for music and the desire to get people dancing to our record collections, we pride ourselves in bringing the most eclectic box of tunes to the table - old and new: From Rock ad Roll to Psychedelia, Hip Hop to Electro. If it’s good we’re playing it and we want you dancing to it. It’s all about the love, laughs and fun times.

BY DAY:

Beth is the presenter of Radio One Introducing in Wales where she plays it how it is on her weekly show.

Cat promotes at the legendary Clwb Ifor Bach – bringing the best acts around to the fair people of Cardiff.

Jemma is an artist and musician who sings with her rock band Heck.

Fionna is a tour manager extraordinaire who’s worked with the likes of Hot Chip, Peaches & The Kills -  she gets us to the show on time.

Laura writes, make things and is the guitarist/singer in King Alexander and performs solo as Le B.

BY NIGHT:

We are the Vinyl Vendettas! We take the music where our record boxes take us.

If you would like us to play your party/ festival/ aftershow/ garage please contact us at: thevinylvendettas@googlemail.com

Set up for love and laughs the VV's are always game for a party, we've dj'd the Radio One stage at Reading for the past four years, and have played at Latitude, Venn Festival, Greenman Festival, Truck Festival and many more in-between...We regularly crop up at club and band nights around Cardiff, have taken on HOT CHIP and even made appearances in New York & at All Tomorrows Parties in Australia. We also appear semi-regularly in London at The Social and with My Ex Boyfriends Records.

Who I'd like to meet:

people who want us to dj at their festivals, club nights, album launch, venue, pub, birthday party, bar mitzvah, wedding, house-warming, indie club...get in touch - send us a message! we'll spin you right round.

Hello. Please do delete this comment if you so wish.

We're just making sure that everyone knows that our debut album 'Horses For Courses' is available to buy from our little record label's online shop:

    http://www.donttellclare.co.uk/shop.htm

Its been selling faster than we expected, and we currently only have around a quarter of our stock left - so we thought we'd better you all know that if you want a copy then now would be a good time to pick one up! If you buy it from the link above then you're buying it direct from us, the label aren't taking a cut - so its a bit like Fair Trade for struggling musicians.

International mail-order is available, just follow the instructions.

Thank you very much, and sorry for making a mess of your profile. If its any kind of consolation, we don't have a MySpace bot, so I'm leaving these comments the old fashioned way. Three -and-a-half thousand of them. My life is so exciting.

    Lots of love
    Das Wanderlust
