The Vision are a four piece Indie/Rock band from the South of England. They have been together since the summer of 2007 and since then have played numerous gigs around England including, London, Bournemouth, Winchester, Southampton and Portsmouth.

The band consists of the Thunderous Beats of the UK, National Young Drummer of the Year 2006, James Birt, the Pumping Basslines of Swanny, the Melodic Guitar lines of Aaron Pearce and the Capacious Vocals of Rob Brown.

The Vision have already written and recorded their first album, What Will Become? – Which you can buy simply by sending them a message - And are trying to get their music heard by as many people as possible because they believe that their music is of a style which people will love!

In December 2007 they were featured on www.myownmusic.de which is a German Internet radio station, and just recently in March 2008 were featured on the Guestlist at 93.7 Express fm. They performed at the Gosport Waterfront Festival this year too - to a capacity crowd and appreciate the support of all their new and remaining fans! The band has been approached to play a mini tour in Germany next summer (2009) and will also be playing in Brighton very soon.

The overall aim for The Vision is to become a successful band in the music industry and will do what they must to make it.

-----------------------------REVIEWS--------------------------------

THE MAG

The band who kicked off the night were a bouncy pop/indie band called The Vision - a seemingly typical four-piece with an extremely catchy set of tunes. Some good lyrics, such as "Jealousy never got anyone anywhere" were awesome. The drummer is a definite showman, and has a good sense of style in his black fedora and woolly scarf (on the hottest day of the year so far!). With elements of The Jam, The Clash, and undoubtedly Oasis, this band has gone down really well with many of the uninitiated, plus their volley of fans singing along at full voice throughout. A great start to the night!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

MATCHBOX RECORDS

'Don't Try To Be Me' - an innovative, powerful and somewhat unique piece of pop music! The bass and drum work are excellent, and the guitar part blends seamlessly into the body of the track; really making the song what it is. The vocals float superbly over the top of it all, with some well judged harmonies are really gutsy feeling. The little additions - like the tambourine - really give the song a distinct voice, and I was greatly impressed! I really enjoyed this.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

JURASSIC MARK - BEN DLUGOKECKI

They're the best rock and roll band in Southampton.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

MAX'S RECORDS

The Vision were a complete revelation for me - awesome.

BUGBEAR PROMOTIONS

THE VISION- The Vision are a four piece indie/rock band from the South Coast of England, a melodic mix of indie/rock with catchy chorus's and strong hooks, influenced by Oasis, the Beatles and the Kooks, fusing together to make their own style. Get involved!
