Contrary to popular belief, the Visitors do NOT care for pirates, nor are we associated with them in any way.
While we respect their love for the sea and think their eye-patches and peg-legs are timeless accessories, quite frankly, we find their tendency to "plunder first and ask questions later" attitude to be quite childish.
So, to conclude: The Visitors - virtuous explorers, not filthy pirates.
Please find the official, completely accurate and truthfull biography for The Visitors below:
From their respective corners of the outer eddies of our Universe, three valiant voyageurs, namely Kevo Polo, Antarctic-Cat da Gama and Skottie Magellan, have converged on the planet commonly referred to as Earth. Each one of these three voyageurs has in their repertoire a myriad of super-powerful powers and an astonishing set of skilful skills which they have majestically and/or mystically combined to form The Visitors.
Transcending tempest-like time portals, entering and subsequently exiting enigmatic energy forcefields and using gamma radiation to their advantage, The Visitors have travelled the vast expanse of known and unknown realms and have had exceptional adventures along the way. The Visitors believe that their adventures are worthy of sharing with the residents of planet Earth and have therefore done so in the form of catchy, courageous, pleasurable and powerful pop-punk songs.
In the year 2008, which is, not coincidentally the year of the Walrus, The Visitors released their 11-song, 26-minute, debut album entitled, “Lost On The Globe”. This album is recommended to anyone who likes to have fun.

Move over Brody Dalle - there's a new girl in town...
One fateful evening at the Rock & Roll Pizza Party, I was sitting at the back of the bar on a first date when I heard with what only could be described as a 16 year girl screaming at her bratty younger brother for reading her locked diary to his friends. This raw voice aggressively screeching K O A 2 E O ripped through me and caused me to go barreling up to the front leaving my date, and join in drunkenly shouting along to the Kars postal code. (Congrats Kars, you now have an official anthem). And the show just got better from there... Not only does Erin (vocals & bass), the screaming beauty, deliver a raw energy second to none, the rest of the band Skottie (guitar & vocals) and Kevin (drums & vocals), keep the songs upbeat and rockin' with fast classic punk beats & riffs with catchy vocals to boot.
Lucky for me this was their CD release, and their first full-length release fully satisfied my expectations even after that tasty show. Their traveling themed CD takes you on a trip around the world from border troubles, to Hanoi, Mexico and to my personal fav - Sydney. Sydney Snakes is one song that'll kick your ass around the world and the rest of the album will keep ya humming songs all day long. So make sure you catch their next live show, pick up The Visitors: Lost on the Globe, and get then get the fuck out of dodge.

This show is Kevin Berger's Birthday Party. Some great punk bands are playing including bands he is a part of - if you know Kevin he is a stand up guy. He also use to play with Doug Hell in a band called The Never Ends (you might remember them off of Kick'em While They're Down Vol.2).
See you this Saturday with a few beers and cheers at Dekcuf!
