Paris, January 2006. An 8-Track, beat-box, guitar and bass; Dan Klein sets about recording the first demo tapes and launches a MySpace profile: Vismets project is born (at least virtually). Upon his return to Brussels, Dan undertakes the pursuit for musicians.
Brussels, October 2007. In the midst of rehearsals for their first concert at the Botanique, the line-up will finally consist of three members: Nicolas Collaer (drums), Anthony Klein (guitar & keyboards) and the front-man, Dan Klein (guitar, keyboards & vocals). The success of this first public appearance will confirm the three founding members of the project. In early 2009 the musician Remy Lebbos joined the band.
Their music? : “A baroque electro-rock frenzy.” No boundaries nor defined style; or rather definitive style. Vismets music is in constant evolution: nomadic, catchy, brutal, primitive Their first EP was released in January 2008. This 4-track title is distributed exclusively at concerts and is available online (iTunes with physical copies via website), offering a first taste before the release of the full-length album, due late 2009.
