The Vocal Zone Academy was established in 1997, working with various artists in Music Theatre. The Vocal Zone Academy provided training for performers on the West End, including clients from the casts of Miss Saigon, Cats, Saturday Night Fever, Notre Dame de Paris to name a few. Now The Vocal Zone Academy business expanded to provide training and coaching for all genres of music in the recording industry; including clients from record companies such as A&M Records, Universal, EMI, Wu-Tang, Silver Screen Records, Mark Hill Productions and many other record labels.

The Vocal Coaches of The vocal zone academy Bex Hazard & Cat Llewelyn are both International recording artists releaseing several dance singles todate and are featured on many international DJ compilation albums including "A State of Trance" Awarded best compilation for the 2006 Trance Awards. Now established Vocal coaches, Singer songwriters, Dj's and music producers with there own regular International Radio show "CAT N BEX Sessions" have reachedNo.1 in the World Trance Charts. They are promoting the best of vocal dance music and bringing new fresh vocal duo sound to the growing dance industry world wide. You can find reviews in world music magazines including International DJ Mag, Dj Mag, Mix Mag and M8 music Mag as well as internet sites. Both CAT N BEX have devoted there musical life to the development of top class vocal production and they continue to do so today.

The Vocal Zone Academy also coaches corporate companies, for workshops, fun days and choirs. The Vocal Zone Academy currently coaches at studios in central London Bond Street, easy access by rail and tube.

She has gone on to a very successful career in Singing singing in many Operas and Music Theatre performances, in Korea, Japan and China, Performing the lead role in "The Last Empress". Lorry Kim is also known as a recording artists, and has recorded for Universal Records and many other labels. She has recorded over 500 pieces of music for commercials, including Coca Cola, Maxim, IBM, Cotton Club and Korean Air. Her voice has also been recorded for film music, such as Disney Films including Mulan. Lorry say's " The Vocal Zone Academy has provided me with support, encouragement and very good advice. THE VOCAL ZONE ACADEMY - Vocal Fitness tips

Before a performance or recording session

1. Try Not to drink any alcohol as this can dry out the throat / voice

2. Stay away from problem foods such as milky products, spicy foods, fizzy drinks as these can cause mucas / flem or dry out your throat /voice

3. Try to drink plenty of water but not more than 2 liters per day and best if it is at room tempreture as Iced water freezes the vocal cords tissue

4. Try to get lots of Sleep the night before the performance or recording

5. Try some form of relaxsation technique
