THE VOGUES- Belgian band doing a Gallic hued indie pop. From Brussels, looking to get a fan base in London. Actually, they are tres bien at this lo-fi indie rock! Can definitely hear some Strokes and Arctic Monkeys nuances in the vocals.

The Vogues love their British bands, and definitely wouldn't sound out of place played alongside 70s era Kinks or the Stone Roses. The sound of The Vogues resonates with influences including the Beatles, The Stones, Kinks, Stone Roses, Blur, Oasis, Suede, The Strokes and the Libertines.
Yet their songs and image are far from retrospective; mixing soul bass lines, 6O’s garage riffs and a pinch of baggy and glam-rock attitude with contemporary elements.
Following the great rock’n’’roll tradition, The Vogues line up consists of two electric guitars, bass and drums, lead and backing vocals with occasional sleazy harmonica.
A bit "cliché"? Yeah!Definitely!
After a few gigs in Belgium (opening for DIRTY PRETTY THINGS, HOT CLUB DE PARIS, ...) and a mini tour in Paris and Amsterdam, they'll release their 1st ep in 2007.
