v01tron, aka Benjamin Styles Lawless, has been DJing since 1997 and producing electronic music since 1999. He held a residency at Dunedin's (NZ) premiere nightclub - Bath Street, for 1999 and 2000, playing 7 hour sets every Saturday night with all shades of funky house, importing vinyl from Europe to play to newly converted South Island New Zealanders. He has been making dance music since 1999, under the name Punjab, and since 2008 under the name Voltron. Find that older stuff here: www.myspace.com/punjabnz . He has self-released 6 albums under the name Punjab on the record label he owns with his partner in love and music "Rasaga Records" (http://rasagarecords.atspace.com). He's also brought out a number of DJ Mixes on CD, but now prefers to upload them here: http://www.house-mixes.com/artists/v01tron/ - check them out. He was previously part of the electic and hectic DJ collective "The Goodness" www.myspace.com/thegoodnessdjs. He has finished his 2009 project - "Defender of the Mind Diverse". He has just finishing up v01tron's second release, "The Ideas Man EP", a 7 track dancefloor filler. Also, a 12 track mash up album "Nine Inch Punk" combing the talents of Daft Punka dn Nine Inch Nails has just been mixed and released by v01tron... He is currently in the studio working on v01tron's 4th release - "Dark Mountain".
