I really can't stress what a fantastic addition you
were to our wedding, and truthfully family and friends
still talk about our event. Each of you made a special impact on the night, and in
our memories forever. Many thanks.

VooDUDES Rule!
What a great time. You guys had people dancing and
partying before we had a chance to finish serving the food. I just cannot
say enough about you guys...great music and great guys. We'll have you
back for sure.

Hey VooDudes,
Our family was all together for Christmas last night and again the conversation
went back to how much fun we all had dancing and listening to the band.
Your guys made our special night terrific. Everyone at the party has gone out of their way
to say how much they enjoyed you guys and one reason
was cause you guys always seem to be having fun yourselves on stage.
I know a group of us are already planning to get a trip together to see you guys again this Winter.
Happy New Year and rock on,
John
We have been seeing you guys for many years. But I just have to say how much you guys have matured and really mastered your music. You dudes are just incredible. We are looking forward to hearing some new songs in your sets and these DudesHeads will catch you again soon.
Regards,
Thom Pooley and Dr. Concetta Stewart of Ringoes, NJ

Thank you so much for another fantastic Mardi Gras performance. The
Voodudes were a hit again this year. Mardi Gras would not have been
such a success without you. We look forward to working with you again
next year!

Saw you all at Duke Island Park. We have started our second generation of Voodude fans. My daughter and son were the little ones running/dancing up front at the concert.
Keep playing strong!

The VOODUDES were sounding sweet. Great version of No Expectations, that guy has such a good voice. Let's do it again soon. by Silentrees
Hey, just came across your CD from my archives...man you guys use to
tear it up at the Ritz back in' 96....You are now on my ipod...I live in
Boston these days but still have a place on the Vineyard...ROCK ON!

The band is sounding better then ever. The arrangements, which were always awesome, are even more distinctive and tighter. The instrumental sounds are better then I remember, and I LOVE it when bands change instruments to get a particular sound for a particular song - the VooDudes are becoming excellent at this.
I always loved the Dudes, but I've got to say, they have brought it to the next level in terms of performance and professionalism.
Go Dudes.
Erich

We just wanted to express our appreciation to you gentlemen for coming out
to play for us again. I've had quite a few staff approach me and tell me
how much they enjoyed all the music. As hectic as it can get organizing
all this, it's always such a wonderful relief to finally get to sit back
and listen to you all play!
Thanks again,
Roia
Well first you gotta make a Roux!!!
Then add in some New Orleans funk, blues, boogie-woogie and honky-tonk. Add a pinch of Zydeco, Southern soul and Caribbean party music and let it simmer 'til it's real thick.
In the vast VooDUDES library of original songs, nothing is sacred. Whether it's imploding the hits of Hank Williams into the ultimate drivin' and cryin' song
("That Hank Williams Feeling"),
or eulogizing the Southern jazz funeral ("Party When You're Gone"), The VooDUDES do it all--and with a beat that will make you move your feet.
The VooDUDES have been featured on MTV's "Street Party," WPLJ's "Morning Show with Scott & Todd," and on the nationally syndicated "Dr. Demento Show." They've been seen in numerous festivals, including The Red Bank Jazz and Blues Festival, Philadelphia's "Jambalaya Jam", New York's "Benson & Hedges Blues Festival" and Ft. Lauderdale's "Crazy Crawfish Fest." They've shared the bill with a galaxy of stars--among them, Dr. John, Levon Helm, Branford Marsalis, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Buckwheat Zydeco, C.J. Chenier, Chubby Carrier, Mavis Staples, Terrance Simien, Cowboy Mouth, The Holmes Brothers, and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band.
The band has performed everywhere from The Hard Rock Cafe, Tramps and Le Bar Bat in New York City, to Jimmy's, Muddy Waters, and Cafe Brasil in New Orleans. The band has also toured in Europe and Canada.
The VooDUDES latest studio effort, Let 'Em Roll!, was released August 2008. The songs reflect some of the band's experiences over the past few years with family, friends, life, love and loss.
The VooDUDES recently released their 6th CD, Take Cover, a collection of cover tunes recorded live at River Horse Brewery in Lambertville, NJ. Check the schedule and come out to a show and pick up one or both of the new CDs!
Past CDs include
Wake the Dead, Night of the Living 'DUDES and Block Party. Inquire about availability at any VooDUDES performance.
Please be informed that G. Wood/Undercover Bonobos have posted a new song entitled "Seeds" on their Myspace music player. We strongly advise that you review this material carefully. Your commentary is welcomed.
Analysis: We have been informed that this song sounds like a Communist Collective work song. We are further advised that it may be misconstrued as a treatise on the cultivation of illegal herbage. We are cautioned that some listeners may experience a shift in psychological set and setting during the "psychedelic" interlude. Please report any activity of this nature forthwith.
This song may be intended and interpreted as a tribute to the late, great, Sky Saxon.
We gratefully anticipate your thoughts on this matter.

Hi The VooDUDES We wanna thank you for your very important support in those sad days.
This thanx are in our name, in the name of Enrico's wife Paola and in the name of his sons.
Enrico Micheletti's ashes are flyin' throughout the universe and we hope his soul is finally arrived at a beautiful destination.
What about his music and the music we had recorded toghether?
We finally decide to get it out. We wanna remeber Enrico in this way. In the first quarter of 2009 we will publish all our and Enrico Micheletti' s materials on Itunes and many other stores on the web.
We'll send you a message when it's all ready.
God bless you!!!!
KEEP THE BLUES ALIVEEEE!!!!!!!
Appena sarà tutto pronto ti faremo sapere.
Dio ti benedica ancora, grazie. Suonate il blues più che potete!!!!!
Thank you very much for letting me join your circle of friends. I hope to see you out on the road real soon. Keep the blues alive and keep on keeping the faith! Peace and Love! Shirley King, Daughter of The Blues
