Neye Benziyor?
a song you've never heard from a place you've never been.
The V Tones began in the early 21st century with Sandy, Noodle and Eden playing songs from the early 20th century. Since then, it has twisted, turned, shaped and morphed...sometimes as a quaint duo, other times a sizzling sextet. We craft our shows to fit the moment so no performance is ever the same. Also known as Charleston’s only ukulele hot club jug band vaudeville ragtime neo-retro-postpostmodern beachfront quasi-primitime anachronistic revolutionary anti-inflammatory mass catharsis jazz freakout and philharmonic group therapy session.
V-Tones Live Music with Silent Movies Thursday Oct. 15 7:30-8:30 free (donations accepted) John Rivers Communications Museum
Where is the Communications Museum? It is across the street from the CVS on the corners of George and St. Philips street in downtown Charleston. It is in the college zone, so give yourself time to find parking (or ride your bike). We'll be accompanying several short films that are from the early days of cinema. This will not be a repeat performance! We haven't shown these films before! Even though a few of the films are spooky or eerie, they are certainly appropriate for the whole family. We would be honored if you could attend.
Hey Everybody! Eden and I had a fun time opening for Sol Driven Train at the Purple Fiddle in Thomas, WV. It's a very cool scene. People came from all over for the show. Thanks for the support!
