Houston based the Wage Packets - Joe Belmarez aka Joe B. (RebelCrew Heavy Heights ) and Dunnok are a song writing department for the Starlightbeats record label . Writing music for acts like the RebelCrew , Heavy Heights , Jus Be! , Karina Nistal and other artist thru out the states.
The Wage Packets sound was created by studying forgotten styles while adventuring outside the box not just alternative genres like underground hip hop & electronic music but odd ball styles like gypsy saloon traveling shows etc. Joe Belmarez & Dunnok unlike traditional songwriters that perform with acoustic guitars they also are studio engineers and dj's so the production on this project goes far and beyond strings, 2 turntables and a microphone at the same time the Wage Packets do not hide behind or ride the fine line of over using effects and "new" sounds to make a mark. The Wage Packets are in fact more like a science project we hope you enjoy the songs they have posted up where the above sciences have been successfully applied.
