Meet the Wagon Crew... this is an musical entourage born out of the inspiration to rock any crowd of people anywhere cause we travel through the galaxy bumpin psychedelic hiphop out of a radio flyer wagon. The building blocks consist of human beatboxing, funky ass bass, and melodic jazz trumpet and flute melodies. But it goes much deeper than that. The simplicity of a battery powered bass amp on wheels and a beatboxer was brought into being especially for Burning Man. NicoLuminous, a beatboxing MC and begins looping and layering vocals to create heavy beats complete with harmonies and bass lines. Incorporating analog delays with the loops manifests an unreal soundscape that saturates the brainwaves with lucious tones blending and melting with an electro-organic feel. Then you have Afro Q Ben, who's comin with the straight funk on the bass. Layin down deep and groovy basslines to really make your booty shake is his specialty. Now, sweeten up the the rthym section with the beautiful sounds of jazzy flute solos and wailing trumpet licks provided by Russ L. Nico layers Russ's horn lines on the fly creating huge sounding brass sections that just lift it up. Of course lyrics with messages to raise awareness and spark imagination can seemlessley flow with the groove. Overtones of dancehall and roots influences mesh into a hiphop foundation. Since these guys all play in megafunk hiphop band, Luminous Fog, the musical synergy is just amazing. These sounds are resonant for good folks that love to dance, and there is an infinite supply of these tasty grooves due to sheer spontenaity, musical mastery, and gifted inspiration. Now don't forget that all of this happens out of a little red wagon. With the bass amplifier, the sound is loud, low and punchy so movin your body is inevitable. Mobile party on foot. This wagon is a magical device and has been known to cause estactic dancing, laughter, and transformation.

Hi the wagon crew, I am just stopping by to wish you Happy Holidays and hoping you are enjoying your Xmas! Mine was awesome and now we get ready for the big NEW YEARS EVE, think our harbour bridge has all the decorations and fireworks on it already! Every year they keep us in suspense to what the icon or theme of the coming year will be! I hope all is going well for you.. Also i hope to be able to share my wonderful news with you soon regarding my music (finally) its all been a secret up till now... So i hope its ok for me to pop back and tell you the news!!
