The upbeat music of Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphy, The Pogues and other legendary Irish punk-rock outfits come alive each week in venues throughout the West as The Wailing O’Sheas faithfully reproduce their music and stage show. This is a sham-rock performance that pays tribute to the bands that have produced some of the most memorable and emotionally driven Irish punk-rock to date.
Fronted by bassist and vocalist John Chatelain, The Wailing O’Sheas brings a bit of the New England Irish punk-rock scene to audiences closer to home. Fiddle player Andy Reiner, born and bred in Boston, Massachusetts and graduating from Berklee College of Music, explodes on stage as he reproduces the melodies and sound that fans of Flogging Molly & Dropkick Murphys know and love.
The Wailing O’Sheas have created the perfect show for venues selling whiskey and stout by attracting audiences to hear and see music they know and love, while enjoying a drink with friends. The show is familiar, loud and ruckus… just the way these renowned Irish punk-rock bands created it.
There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.

We’re playing with Broke City!
The show at The Axe and Fiddle was awesome!!!!!! so sorry could stay for the whole she, but i got to hear my fav. song Bar Room Heroes. Great job guys. Keep me posted if you are gonna be in the area again.
Will do. And, I am stopping by Whistlers on Friday to meet Judy. I used to work with Brandon when I brought bands in. But I he took off. My connections are always leaving!!!!
I will try to make a show. I am heading for Vegas the two weeks you guys are in my area. Jarad from Red Dragon said you were great. I may send a representative to Whistler's in Pendelton, if it works out. I did do some writing about the bands I saw, but that seemed to get in the way of following bands......
I am currently without the ability to naviagate through myspace and other such sites. Is there some direct email or text list that I can get on to find out about upcoming shows in my area? I was hugely pregnant at your last Portneuf Valley Brewing show and would love to make your next show so that I can dance this time!
Yup, we made it to the show. It was awesome. Can't wait to see you somewhere that we can dance next time! Baby boy was born 6/20/09 and all is well. Thanks for checking on us!
As I happen to be due to have a baby this weekend (or so) I won't make it to the PVB to see you guys (yet again!!) but know that I'm there in spirit and one day I WILL see you live! Have an awesome show, enjoy Pocatello and maybe climb a rock or two while you're here.
