Ever since I was a young teen, I've had an incurable passion for going to concerts. I've been lucky to have seen countless shows. Below you'll see (amongst other things) picturess of some of the concerts I've been to. They barely scratch the surface really...but they happen to be a few of the concerts where either me or a friend at the show actually had a camera. :-D
Music
I love all kinds of music, but my favourites are psychadelic, progressive, electronic, experimantal and jazz.
Movies
Lots of faves, but to list just one, I'd say Slingblade.
More than anything I love political and historical documentaries.
Television
CSI: Miami, NY, and Vegas. Simpsons, Family Guy, 24, Ugly Betty, Hockey Night in Canada, NFL Football, CBC Newsworld's The Passionate Eye.
About me: My name is Lino and I host a radio show called "THE WAITING ROOM" which airs every Friday morning from 10am-12noon EST on 93.3 CFMU-FM, McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. If you are not local, there are TWO ways to hear the program via the internet:
1. During the original broadcast time noted above, at the station's website.
2. At my website, where you will find up to 20 of the most recent shows posted and available to be heard at any time! There's a box in the lower middle of the page with all the shows dated. Just click whatever show you want to hear (the corresponding playlists are in my playlist blog)....give it a few seconds to load, and away ya go.
The Waiting Room radio program takes a fairly comprehensive approach to psychadelic and progressive rock: symphonic, experimental, Canterbury, krautrock, jazz-rock/fusion, electronic/ambient, prog folk, proto prog, space rock, zeuhl, RIO, avant-garde...psychadelia galore, and so much more :-). Lot of rarer 70's stuff that you won't hear on many other programs. Of course, newer music is played as well.
