The Walkin' Talkin' Toxins stage is littered with inflatable love-dolls and trampolines, a camoflauge backdrop and lifesize Tony Montana. The band rips through a version of the Velvet Underground classic "Heroin" when gas-masked guitarist Dick Monster breaks into his solo...a chainsaw solo.....
Such is the scene for the surrealistic punk-rock guerilla theatre of The Walkin' Talkin' Toxins. They are loud, fun, retro and ridiculous. Featuring past and present members of The Sillies, The Denizens, Red September and The Hypnotics, The Toxins bring old-school punk and a unique insanity to their music. The group just released its new five song E.P. "Meet The Toxins", a precursor to the full length album "Apocalypse Au-Go-Go".
