The Wallace Collective was started in the Winter of 2008 When Brandon Muske started to write some tunes about the things in his life and the things he saw in the world. Some of the tunes were good, some bad. The songs recorded and performed by The Wallace Collective are the ones that we thought were passable. Although the core of the music is written by Brandon, the music would be nothing without the work and love of his friends and family. Their creativity and generosity makes the music what it is. The name comes from the desire to not be just another singer/songwriter with their first and last name on the album. Wallace is the name of Brandon's father, and is also Brandon's middle name, among many other male family members in the Muske Family. The choice to name the project The Wallace Collective also comes from everyone working together to make the best possible music they can with friends and the ones they love. Although The Wallace Collective has no "set" members, everyone involved has an equally important role. Times change, people move, and we all wish each other the best. So here is to those who have and those who have yet to join The Wallace Collective on the stage or in the studio. Ahhh, who am kidding, if any of us has ever had a beer with you, your involved too. Welcome, and we hope you enjoy what we've been up to.
