Bass & Vocals.. Artist, Musician Wayne Russell was born in Pontotoc, Mississippi to parents who picked cotton on family land. Both his mother and father came from homes where music was a part of daily life. Most of his family members played and sang in church as well as community gatherings. At the age of 5, Wayne and his family moved from Mississippi to Memphis Tennessee where Wayne’s love of art and music blossomed. He fondly remembers receiving art supplies and guitars each Christmas during his childhood, and by the time he completed High School he was voted most talented student. Wayne has been a core member of the band since it was conceived. He writes a lot of the original songs the band performs and is is one of the best bassist in the Mid-South area. He has worked with such great artist as : Tracy Nelson, Barbara Blue, Don McMinn, Mojo Buford, Rick Christian, Jimmy Jamison, Jack Rowell… When you hear him play, you have heard one of the best... ..Josh Roberts.... Guitar.. Although still in his teens Josh Robert's guitar is on many of Brad Webb's Boogie Barbeque Label recordings. He has his own release with “Boogie Barbeque” as well... His latest contribution is to the Reba Russell band's new release “Broke Down But Not Out”... He also recently recorded with Steven Segal at The House of Blues Studio in Memphis TN for a project with Blues greats, Pinetop Perkins, Bob Margolin, Koko Taylor and many others... Wayne Russell
