Hello. We're The Wands: glamorous and magical, ranging from Oak to Holly, and Unicorn Tail Hair to Phoenix Tail Feather. We've got confessions for you, confessions only a wand can give. Don't make us imperio you, give us a listen!
Our real names are Michelle and Amy. We're of the Wizard Rock variety, inspired by Harry and the Potters and all the others that followed. We first had the idea for Hermione and the Grangers; however, the idea was taken quickly by the Hermione Crookshanks Experience. (Go listen to her, by the way! She's awesome and deserves many fans.) "But not to worry!" we thought. "There are many magical objects we can be!" And thus, after much deliberation, The Wands began.
We also sing songs about various other books, mostly the ones we've read for our english classes. We call ourselves The Literatures — go give us a listen!
We believe in reading, rocking, and never giving up on doing what you love! Are you ready to wrock?
FINAL CALL. Just thought I'd try this one last time. I'm probably getting annoying by now, aren't I? Heh. Anyways, our absolutely FINAL auction is going to take place on July 1st. All proceeds are going to be sent to the Lesbian and Gay Fund of Colorado. So far, we've made plenty of money, but it's worth it to try to earn more! If you have absolutely ANY items you would be willing to donate to this cause, contact me. At my school, I am going to have a fundraiser in order to support the LGBT. (If you don't know what that means, it's the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender parties.) A few days ago was the Day of Silence, and I think it's a great kick off for this fundraiser. People are highly influenced by the power of music, and by the power of books. What does that mean? Wizard Rock. We are going to have a large get together where we are playing Wizard Rock music, watching Harry Potter, etc. All the money we earn is going to be donated to support these groups of people. If any of you have any clothing merchandise, or new - and affordable - c.d.'s, please message me, so I can purchase them from you and we can auction them off at this event! THANK YOU!
