T'was a sunny morning in June and as I ambled along the concrete path to my mother's for my sunday dinner - a once a week treat for a culinery deficient bachelor - I happened upon a catterpillar slowly meandering along, oblivious of every danger awaiting it on it's monotonous journey to the safety of the hedgerow on the other side of the path - it got me to thinking that soon it would become one of natures most beautiful creatures, a butterfly, and would be able to soar into the air, effortlessly, and take itself away from any such pending danger - however the butterfly has a tiny lifespan so perhaps, on reflection, the ignorance of the catterpillar was no bad thing ! Makes ya think tho !!!!
