With the release of their self-titled demo in mid-2007, The Warsaw Flowers emerged onto the Adelaide music scene and were met with critical acclaim, gaining favourable reviews from local and national street-press and the single “Internationalism2you” receiving national airplay on Triple J, which got comparisons to notable acts such as The Smiths, Joy Division and The Go-Betweens.
After a solid year of gigging, sharing the stage with local and interstate bands, The Warsaw Flowers returned to the studio to record their debut EP One Man’s Lament with Adelaide producer Matt Hills.
Due for release in early 2009, this new EP is adventurous in its diverse sound, yet it captures the band’s wide ranging influences and the spirit of their eclectic live shows.
