We are very excited to announce that we have
just finished recording our Ep with Grammy
nominated and multi-platinum producer/engineer
Steve Chadie. We have been recording with Steve at Willie Nelson's famed Pedernales
Studios located in the hill country Northwest of Austin.
We have chosen to release 6 songs that will be on the
Ep set to be released April 13th @ the Parish in Austin, Texas.
Where to start? The Wartime Social is a conglomerate
of individually incorporated musicians brought together to
destroy the earth. The band hails from Austin, Texas, also
known as "The Capital of the world in rank music politics
and financial compromise." Out of the droves of gigging
whores, come The Wartime Social, a million miles away
from anything. With a wall of rock guitars and vocal
acrobatics that mirror The Mars Volta and Jeff Buckley,
The Wartime Social bring a unique and powerful new
genre to life. Through the combination of atmosphere
and space, the band has become a part the next major
musical movement to embrace everyone.

waiting for musically and "stylistically." Breaking the
boundaries from post-grunge, modern-alt, and into
epic-prog-rock .Think of it like this-Tool, Zepplin, and
Bowie-crash land on an island, start writing songs together-
what happens is The War Time Social ! The newest, musical
endeavour by former A+Machinest, and Pavlovs-Dog, as
well as stage-stealing guitarist for Johnny Goudie-Ryan Holley.
I've seen him performing live for years, and truly the *WarTime
Social is something to be afraid of!The lineup is great, several

seriously, it's bullshit that y'all don't play more often!!! if i had my way it would be weekly! that was amazing last night. cheesy as it sounds, seeing y'all perform, being inundated with so much talent, moves my spirit in ways nothing else ever could. and i fucking mean it when i say if y'all don't get back to playing more i'm gonna bruise some testicles!
