Band Members	rebecca davey ... vocals leif van den dungen ... bass peter kelly ... drums glenn allen ... guitar Various musical styles and influences combine together to produce a slightly "retro-bluesy-rock" experience that runs the full gammut from pop ballad to straight-and-loud, consciously avoiding the "traditional blues" format but interlaced with tinges of their personal musical influences. With vintage valve-tone amps, matching Rickenbackers, the Joplin-esque vocal style of Bec (and Pete's sticks... made from wood!), the Wasp Factory has a sound that is quite distinct, transcending genres and appealing to a wide variety of tastes.

(Actually, I'd really like to sing with you one day; if you're recording again anytime and want some male back up vocals suitably husky and deep enough to not sound too weak next to your own tones give me a hoyhoy). Cant make your east Brunswick Club gig; my wife just had a baby two weeks ago, and we're still finding our footing, but from March onwards Im keen to get back into gigging myself (just solo) so if you cats need an opener some time, let me know! Time is on my side	Dec 27 2006 7:39 PM The orginal songs are really well produced and performed. Above the rest. With the the right management (gigs, presentation and promotion) they have the potential to be noticed big time. Great vocals with soul, and music is tight with lots of colour. Really worth seeing The Wasps before they go big time.
