The Watermark High is a band from Gauteng, South Africa. Their current sound reflects their wide variety of influences ranging from post-rock to electronica to ambient. The Watermark High started out as the acoustic solo project of Paul van der Walt, back in 2003. The band since went through various incarnations and line-ups and have released two Eps to date, “(What) Are You Thinking?” (2003) and “Disappear With Me” (2008). The band's debut 11 track album, "Loneliness As An Art Form", will be out soon!
