The Wayfarers are an acoustic/bluegrass band out of the Eastern Shore area of Mobile Bay, in Baldwin County Alabama.
The 4 Gospel songs you hear on this page were recorded in February 2008, at Gulf Shores United Methodist Church, at their annual Stained Glass Bluegrass Festival. It was recorded from the audience, on a digital recorder by our good friend, Danny McCann. The other 2 songs (The Weight and Sylvia's Mother) were recorded at the annual Arts & Crafts Festival in Fairhope Alabama in 2003. It was recorded on cassette from the mixing board. Also, our bass player was absent that day, so there's not much bottom end.
