The Way Out Is Through was formed in Worcester, Massachussetts during the Fall of 2009, by Hudson Eakin, the only official member of the band.
The Way Out Is Through is an experimental band focused on creating a wide variety of music, though the band has a large focus on rock, The Way Out Is Through isn't afraid to take on other genres like rap, electronica, blues, and more. Drawing it's members from a pool of qualified talent rather than relying on a single concrete lineup The Way Out Is Through is full of veteran musicians who are no strangers to setting the stage on fire with an electric and high-energy performance that leave its audience wanting more.
The current line-up of musicians in The Way Out Is Through includes:
Hudson Eakin – Vocals / Keys / Electronics
Hudson Samuel-Clement Eakin was born and raised in Alexandria, Louisiana where he studied voice and acting throughout middle school. During December of 2004, Hudson and his family moved to Portland, Maine where Hudson would experience his first underground rock show and purchase his first guitar later that week. After a semester at the Berklee College of Music in Boston during Summer 2006, Hudson focused his energies almost solely on bass guitar. Originally known for the work he did with his former band Faster! Faster! in Portland, Maine. Hudson left the band to pursue a harder, funkier sound opposite the pop-emo direction Faster! Faster! was heading towards. Hudson Eakin composes music for various private /student organizations including film scores for Clark Cable Network and live sound tracks for a Haunted House that took place in the Fall of 2008.
