The Studio
At the heart of the studio is our VINTAGE CUSTOM NEVE 8078
This analogue console is fully discrete, totally hand wired and built by the legendary Rupert Neve team at the height of their success in the 70's. It was custom built for CBS Sony's studios in Tokyo to a very high specification and has been maintained perfectly throughout it's life.
This rare custom model, along with the Utopia (Pink Floyd) console led to the production of the standard 8078 - the last of the classic 80 series desks.
An unequalled tone with a dense and punchy low end make these Neve boards the Rolls-Royce of consoles, having produced many of the best albums of all time for the world's greatest artists including Pink Floyd, Steely Dan and Nirvana - hearing is believing.
This along with the combination of a carefully selected chain of equipment including a 3M M79 2 inch 16 track tape recorder, classic Neumann tube mics, EMT plate reverb and Pro Tools HD 2 Accel means we give you whatever sound you are searching for.
The studio itself was designed and built to the highest specification by the world-renowned studio designers: Whitemark Ltd: (Hit Factory, Realworld, Strongroom).
Attention to every detail has resulted in as a fully self-contained space offering a creative and productive environment for a truly unique recording experience.
