For simplicity's sake, here is a random list of my favorite mainstream-ish artists who come to mind at the moment:
Kings of Convenience, Imogen Heap/Frou Frou, Fleetwood Mac, Death Cab, Ben Folds Five, Wilco, The Police/Sting, Matt Pond PA, Snow Patrol, Zero 7, Dzihan & Kamien...
Hey, what's up? I'm a guy and I play the role of The Weasel King. There are one of me and I make the songs that make the whole world ____.
I am a strong supporter of the Wizrock movement.
I don't have a lot to say about myself that seems worth writing here, but i can tell you this -- I think I'm pretty funny (i have myself almost definitely wrongly convinced that i know what IS hilarious)... and I like making videos as well as music, so feel free to enjoy those. They may or may not be 'hilarious' but at least your friends will probably be half moderately impressed when you tell them you've seen the latest episode of The Weasel King "Whatever It's Called" Show.
Love the new song! Fun dance-y music, some really great guitar riffs here and there, and I think this song wins the award for most soprano used in a Weasel King song. And I liked the use of synthesizers and piano playing against each other starting at about 2:30, and how the synthesizers mixed in with the vocals. Great job!
Hey! I love the music, but what happened to your website?? I loved being able to see the videos and lyrics and stuff there! It is dearly missed. Anyways, hope you're having a fantastic day!! :)
I like the new versions of Already Dead and Bury Me. I know the EP will be amazing, when it finally comes out, hint hint. And some new videos would be great too. Pretty please.
Interesting remixes. Especially "Already Dead" - it added, what, 2 minutes onto it? A very industrial-sounding remix, giving the song a darker edge. I like how you blend a lot of genres in this remix - the grinding noise in the background at the beginning, an acoustic going over the second verse, and then the dance-influenced bass beats after that. Very interesting. I like it.
I like the start-up noise in the new "Bury Me". In contrast to "Already Dead", this remix makes the song peppier and lighter.
As for the "Red Hair" remix - I like the louder drum setting a more dance beat. Also, the beginning felt like it was influenced by the really good remix on the Old Nerdy Bastard remix EP, and I liked having the tambourine more noticeable in the chorus.
Hey! We are apparently remix producin' machines! We made yet another mash-up involving "Red Hair", but this time, we mashed it up, not with another wrock song, but with the youtube sensation "Chocolate Rain"!
It just so happens I am into that, that being downloading type stuff. :D I simply cannot wait. And I would like to add that you are quite handsome, as well as funny and amazingly talented. But I am sure you hear that all the time.
Your music is absolutely amazing! I love it so much! You are so talented and really sound professional. You are my favorite wizard rock band ever (well maybe you're tied with Ministry of Magic for that spot but close enough). You should totally do a song with them. That would be amazing. I love all your songs but Follow the Red Sparks and Red Hair are my all time favorites. I also love Already Dead. It's so beautiful and so sad. It makes my eyes water ever time I listen to it. Poor poor Snape. And thanks so much for all the free downloads! They wrock!
