The Webb Brothers are happy to announce the signing of Jimmy Webb and The Webb Brothers to Proper Records (U.K)!!! The album 'Cottonwood Farm' is scheduled for release in the U.K, October 09. The record will be also be available through W.E.A. in the U.S and Rough Trade for Europe. U.K tour dates are now confirmed and tickets are available! Looking forward to seeing everybody across the pond. It has been too long!
The new Jimmy Webb and The Webb Brothers album is a collaboration called 'Cottonwood Farm' and will feature new Jimmy Webb and Webb Brothers songs sung by various Webbs! The Webb Brothers released 'Beyond the Biosphere' in 2000 on Warner Brothers records international followed by 2001's 'Maroon' co-produced by Steven Street and 2003's 'The Webb Brothers.' co produced by Neal Ostrovsky and Dave Friddman.
The Webb brothers have been covered by The Earlies and the Magic Numbers and sampled by the Doves. They have toured the world while playing with bands such as The Magic Numbers, The Darkness, Franz Ferdinand, Ben Kweller, Guided by Voices, Eels, etc spreading their unique brand of psychadelic rock.
