The Wednesdees are a three piece band from Detroit Michigan. Relatively new to the music scene, they deliver a sound that draws from an era long past, but eternally cherished for its cultivation of timeless music. They channel legendary underground rock bands from the sixties to perpetuate that unmistakable style, while crafting a genuine sound of their own; incorporating soul, R&B, blues and psychedelia into their songwriting. The Wednesdees' live show focuses on veracity and thrust over perfection, and offers gritty, heartfelt songs one after another.
I had a lovely time performing with you at Paycheck's 10 days ago. I very much enjoyed joining you for a fantastic rendition of "Don't Let Me Down." I have commemorated that moment by making it my homescreen on my phone.
There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.

Party for LIFE is a nonprofit organization that sets up all kinds of benefit shows for local no-kill nonprofit animal shelters and other local charities.
We've even put together a Party for LIFE Compilation CD featuring local bands that we sell inexpensively at our shows to help raise money for the charity of the night.
