"A new band, they played their first ever set at one of the first round heats of this competition and ended up winning the whole thing. Quite an achievement. Their set of highly energetic indie songs drew a packed crowd to the front of the stage and the whole set was alight with enthusiasm. Not unlike the winning set played by the Lowreys at last year's grand final, it was a magical set that stood out in a line up a good bands.
