The Weekly Vice, dubbed a “vigilante” blog by Fox News and NPR, began it’s work in October, 2007 following the case of Megan Meier, a 13-year-old depressed teenager who committed suicide in October, 2006..

Megan Meier hung herself in her closet after an adult named Lori Drew used a MySpace account posing as a teen boy - to befriend and then later bully, harass and humiliate the struggling teen.

When local prosecutors failed to hold the adult accountable for her actions - and hid her identity, The Weekly Vice and other blogs went to work, unmasking the adult - and the dispicable acts she committed. The media, who had also covered up the adult’s identity was then forced to cover the story and reveal the shamed adult who still remains unpunished by the law for her actions.

Since then, The Weekly Vice has continued to profile the cases of those who abuse, rape, molest, neglect and murder others.

The Weekly Vice has also dominated Internet news as one of the leading sources of Crimes involving Teachers who rape and molest students.
