The Welcome Curve came together in early 2006, blending influences from modern Indie rock to classic rock n' roll to electronica and hardcore. The result is a beautiful mixture that'll make you want to do anything besides stand still. Their main goal is to get you up off your seat on on your dancin' feet, and they won't settle for standing still themselves. Their first demo, the two tracks you find here on myspace, were recorded in a two week crunch proceeding their first show (JMM's Battle of the Bands), after only being together for two months and being in the midst of trying to write new material for the upcoming show. Their still searching for shows for the summer, and are willing to travel to play cool venues with cool bands, as the Madison scene is a little tough to break into for a non-hardcore band. TWC stopped playing together at the end of summer, '06, as Minyong left for college and everyone else sort of split off to persue other interests. We'll try to keep you updated on what we're up to, but until then, take a listen, enjoy... We had fun while we were doing it, and we miss seeing you guys out. :)
