The White Rose’s are an acoustic folk quartet who reside in Uniontown, PA. They have just released their Debut album “We're All Just Passing Through”. This album was self recorded and produced by the band. Also a special thanks to Kahlil Natirboff for the guitar on "The Time Is Now" and for Matt Girod's great Electric Guitar and Mandolin work on "Two Lost Lovers in the Season of Life".
The name “The White Rose’s” is derived from the Anti-Hilter movement called The White Rose in the 1940’s. It was a small group of 5 revolutionists who would spread the truth about the Hitler Youth and the Nazi Regime. After about a year and a half and six pamphlet / newsletter’s later they were turned in to the Gestapo by their fellow youth. They were killed for their actions and actually beheaded in front of a live audience. This bravery, justice fighting, and love penetrated Matt & Danielle’s thoughts and heart. Due to this, they decided on the name the White Rose’s as they try to sing and play about Peace, Love, Justice, Hope, and Optimism.
