Having just completed his highly anticipated summer tour with Kid Cudi, Asher Roth is headlining his own show in numerous college towns across the nation. In 2009 Asher released his commercial debut single, "I Love College," a party rap novelty hit that went all the way to number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100. On the heels of this mainstream breakthrough hit and the follow-up single, "Lark on My Go Kart," Roth released his full-length solo album debut, Asleep in the Bread Aisle (2009.)

Based on the well-known story by Charles Perrault, watch in amazement as Artistic Director Sergei Radchenko brings the enchanting fairytale Sleeping Beauty to life. You’ll be swept away as Princess Aurora, who had an evil spell placed upon her at her christening by an evil fairy, is awakened by the kiss of a handsome prince. Through classical dancing, ensemble pageantry and courtly splendor, the 50-member company will weave this story through the realm of imagination and into the hearts of everyone.

One of the most noted young talents to emerge in Cajun, Zydeco and Creole music, Cedric Watson is a fiddler, vocalist, accordionist and songwriter of seemingly unlimited potential. Performing a variety of old-school zydeco styles, original material and Creole traditionals, the sounds of Africa and the Caribbean are unmistakable in this ensemble of talented musicians. Having performed with some of the great family names in Creole music including Dexter Ardoin & the Creole Ramblers, Jeffery Broussard & the Creole Cowboys and most recently the Pine Leaf Boys, Cedric is reviving old Creole fiddling styles by introducing his own personality and ingenuity, bringing them to an ever-broadening audience.

I am so pleased to see that the Whiting is one of the few theatres in the state that offers sign language interpreters and student discounts. As an interpreting student it is a blessing because I can get my required interpreter observation hours and spend time with my mother at an affordable price. Keep up the good work. Thank you.
