TWBA 101 ... a brief history of the cosmos. Let's start with the short version: Boy meets girl. Girl says she can sing. Boy invites girl to mom's basement for quick tryout with newly forming band. Girl opens mouth. Boy falls in love. The Whole Bolivian Army is born! (Cue soundtrack...) If only it were that simple. Sure, the original boy and girl are still making googly eyes at each other on the stage, but, well... For the whole story, visit www.twba.com.
HI GUYS!Been meaning to see you live,I know by the powers that be...it will happen. So keep on keeping on.Hey, we might play tacoma early next year, you could come see us......FUN!
Hey Matt & MB, The computer I had been using, crashed. So, after 3 weeks w/o any computer the choice was made that my mom and I needed to get our own laptops. That whole process of ordering them, took awhile; b/c of the programs I wanted on mine- they had to make my comp. from scratch, I think. So, now I've got my very own dang laptop. It wasn't cheap; BUT I'm a really good saver of money, thankfully. So, now I'm frying out my eyeballs, and trying to get used to the mouse-less comp. I'm using. Ack!!!!! xxxxx
Hi! I have been so busy, but would love to see you guys play again sometime very soon!I'm sure we'll meet soon here. I think it's so great, that Greg's in a band again! Thanks for the comment! ~Suzanne
It's finally happened! I've gotten major goosebumps listening to the new CD. This happened with all the TWBA CDs, and that means something that is unexplainable. A lot of the songs are really comforting, and reassuring and to me, and that is one of the best feeling ever. P.S. The cover pix Gibson took looks a lot like Matt in his orange TWBA shirt. Think I see some long nose hairs.....
Hey!! We all had a great time playing and hanging out with you guys last night. You sounded fantastic and totally tight, everybody was digging it. Let's definitely try and get another bill together sometime soon, maybe Tacoma? Thanks again for doing the show with us, talk to you soon. ~Shane
Gonna miss your show at Sunset Tavern tonight. Color me bummed. It may sound inconsequential to some, but I'm grieving over the loss of my dog. Hopefully you'll be doing more Seattle shows in the near future. I'm still waiting for the chance to hear my favorite song....
Hey there.. back from Africa, sick of course, got your cd and the check? really? I'm not thinking you "owed" any money :) Took TWBA with me on my zune... pretty awesome traveling thru Malawi with you guys as the sound track :) Maybe we will see you soon.
Thank-You SO dang much for the CD! It rocks, it's got the TWBA grrrrrr, and, it's got tons of beautiful feedback. Tipping Texas, is my fav. so far- but to just have some new songs to listen to, is better then gold. xxxxxxxxx
