Rush (Get and watch R30! It's so cool to see these guys still rocking and still apparently still enjoying themselves. As Neil rides a BMW (GS), and as I run the most successful BMW Motorcycle related website for one of, if not the top BMW Motorcycle dealers in the world, I keep trying to figure out some elaborate ruse to lure him to the shop without looking like some kind of sycophantic lunatic)
Etc.
Rock-Rock
AC/DC : Under Rock and Roll Webster's should have AC/DC as the definition. Three guys playing loud music with an apparently spazmatic, hyper-glandular, boy's school drop out playing geetar like he's possessed... And as near as I can tell, all their songs are about sex... Thanks for keeping it simple guys!)
The Who
Zep... But for some reason I can't listen to too much of them in one sitting while conscious. I once tried to explain that perhaps that Zep was like a really good Port wine. It blows everything else you pour into your ear-holes away, but after a while you gotta cleanse your pallet... Or something like that. Made way more sense drunk. At least to me.
Electronic:GOA/Trance (but not that lame, boring, uninspired rave crap... I want arrangement with some thought, purpose, or at least emotion)
Oakenfold
Tiesto
Turntableism
DJ Shadow (without a doubt, the best there is on vinyl. I love to listen to his stuff, and as a rule, I hate "Hip-Hop"... Go figure. I'm enigmatic like that. Perhaps that's why stuff like Pandora don't work for me...)
"Classic" industrial / Electronica
Front242
Frontline Assembly [and the various other Leeb/Fulber offspring]
Will (talk about rare... Try finding a real physical CD of any of their stuff... I can't even find a MySpace for them, so maybe Bill and the boys even forgot about Will... :) )
Delerium (Man, I love this off-shoot. The BEST baselines and arrangements in electronica)
Ministry (I'm sure there are those that will argue that Ministry is not really industrial, but this is my profile so I can call them whatever I want!)
Jazz (NON-VOCAL!!!)
I could listen to jazz flute and vibes all day long... Big Band jazz with vibes on lead...
This list is not even close to complete or comprehensive... over 120GB in iTunes and a closet full of CD's... Kinda hard to pin down...
