Performing "collage rock" instead of college rock, Boston's Wicked Farleys consist of guitarist/vocalist Michael Brodeur, guitarist/vocalist/keyboardist Vanessa Downing (formerly of Samuel and Junction), guitarist/keyboardist Rob Laasko (also a member of the Swirlies), bassist Michael Cory and drummer/keyboardist Ken Bernard. Ken Theory, the group's 1997 debut seven-inch for Big Top Records, introduced their intricate, droning sound, which combines the dreaminess of the Swirlies and My Bloody Valentine with the intricacy of math-rock and the power of punk. Their first full-length effort Sentinel & Enterprise appeared in 1998, followed by the Sustained Interest EP and How's My Driving 7" Split with The Vehicle Birth in 1999. The Wicked Farleys next resurfaced in early 2000 with Make It It.

the rumors are true...the farleys are the pride of fitchburg civic days...and straight hell to the first lady's wonder dogs...there will be no moshing...just to update you, the fitchburg economy is burgeoning these days as long as yr a purveyor of illegal street narcotics...and the sentinel still sucks like it's coming up for air.fuzzburg as always.
I saw you guy's perform @ the Koo's Cafe in Sana Ana, CA. with Sterling Silver. Their were like three of us in the crowd watching, too bad, you guy's were great!!! Sorry to hear it's over.
the only band ever where a member actually took their pantz off during a show when i screamed "take your pantz off."
