Black Sun is an almost monthly weirdo/outer limits music event taking place in the Granary Theatre, Cork. It was launched in May 2009. The programme for Autumn/Winter '09 features Oblivia and Ju Suk Reet Meate (SMEGMA), Jozef Van Wissem, Laura Sheeran, Blood Stereo, HereHareHere, Gryn Brvs and more tbc. It is curated by Vicky Langan (Wölflinge, Female Orphan Asylum, United Bible Studies) and co-run with 'Noise/Music A History' author Paul Hegarty (Safe, Working With Children, Dot Dot Dot Music record label)
