Cabaret acts, sexy pole and burlesque dancers, Wig Party is full of beautiful people and celebrities all dressed for fun. Each year has seen Wig Party grow bigger and better than the previous year and Wig Party 2007 will be no different - unrivaled fun and frolics, as the attendees entertain and are entertained by their own outrageous metamorphosis. The highlight of the evening is the Wig Party Pageant where the hottest costumes compete for Best, Biggest and Most glamorous outfits and hair. Only one though, will be crowned Winner-Wig Party 2007 King or Queen by our panel of celebrity judges . Winners receive gifts and prizes donated by our Sponsors.

The Wig Party started in the late 90’s by a group of friends who just wanted to wear a wig and indulge in some high kicking glamour for glamour’s sake, but it, turns out a lot of secret wig wearers just wanted to let their hair down too. People were experiencing a special rush tapping into their alter egos and entertaining their friends. The WIG Party took on a life of its own. Before we knew it, there were prizes being handed out, banners being hung and songs being sung. As the years went by the party grew by word of mouth, moving from a private house party in Holland Park to the suitably showgirl setting of Soho venue, Too 2 Much in 2005 and became the charity event it is. This year we are back – bigger and better than ever staring at ‘The World Famous Café de Paris’, London.

100% of ticket sales are donated to Crusaid, who are proud to be the official charity partner of Wig Party 2007. Today Crusaid has extended its work to focus on alleviating poverty for people living with HIV and AIDS in the UK and Africa, helping to ensure they can enjoy a decent quality of life.

We love our patrons. Given the choice of nameless, faceless ones that just hide in the shadows or gorgeous, fun ones that will put on a wig and have a giggle, we chose the latter. We chose well...
