The Wild Frontier is a Sydney based quirky quartet. Their debut Ep contains six tracks that tells stories filled with youthful experience in all its glorious naivety and earnestness. The EP covers a wide lyrical and musical spectrum from the multi-instrumental surf-pop of ‘Chicks Dig Hot Cars’ to the stripped bare blues-odyssey of ‘The Owl’.

yeah bob's no larry adler. but his guitarist got plenty of applause after his solos in melbs. we're a bit more cultured down here, you see. he's a great player...reminded me a little of marc ribot (tom waits' guitarist). really kind of abstract blues. they did a lot of new songs though. i think 6 from the new album, which was pretty cool. oh, and don't think twice it's alright!
