I'm a Singer and Actor who found my favorite stage at the Renaissance Faire. Let's see where it goes from here. AKA: Willum Angus Kilgore of Douglas (when in a kilt) William Shakespeare (when dressed up) DW (outside of faire) "(DW) started acting in high school and continued through his college years. He appeared in independent movies and did extra work in some big name movies and t.v. shows looking for his big break. His love for stage led to shows at various theme parks, including Disneyland and Universal Studios. One day, he found the long lost home he had been searching for years to find, the Renaissance Faire. He was welcomed in by the Boar's Head Inn, singing, flirting, and telling jokes at The Royal Feast, and Willie Banger was born. After many, many years at the Boar's Head for both northern and southern California faires, Willie roamed and his story grew. He decided to spend time at sea so he joined the crew of the pirate ship, the Cukoo's Nest (one of southern's ale stands). Having expertly broken every rule as a pirate, he then joined the Constables of northern as a consultant on how peasants might break the laws of the shire. However, his advice proved only slightly helpful toward enforcing the laws. Rather, he seemed to serve only to increase the amount of ale the group could put away on a weekendly basis. So Willie was put to work in the constable owned ale stand, the Cat and Fiddle, to work off his tab. Upon his return to the southern shire, he was able to fool others into thinking he was a different Willie, one Master Shakespeare, whom he looks amazingly like. Under this guise, he was able to meet the Queen and hobnob with the nobles. In all his travels, he has bragged about "knowing" the Peeling sisters, and, whenever possible, he drops on by their tavern for a song and drink.
I have been fortunate to know and perform with many very talented individuals, so when i wanted to put together a CD, I invited them to record with me. The resulting CDs should be available on CDBaby soon!
Antonio Hoyos will be joining us on the 16th of June, appearing as "The Great Antoine!"

The Pop Haydn Post-Modern Medicine Show will be appearing at The Laugh Factory, 8001 Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood! One show at 8:00 PM.
Pop will be joined by Professor Dave Bourne and the Medicine Show Band, Rob Zabrecky, Sophie Evans, Antonio Hoyos, Phil Van Tee and Pop's Candy Girls for a wonderful show of Old Time Music, magic, comedy and variety.
