Hello,

We're supporting A Hawk and A Hacksaw at Ruby Lounge monday 22 june. Tickets are £12 on the door, but only £6 on our guest list. Let me know if you want me to put your name on the guest list! Kalbakken and The Lone Taxidermist are also playing. So should be a really good night!

Static Rain is a 2 piece band from the beautiful Yorkshire town of Keighley. Band members Tony Garthwaite and Jacob Barlow formed the band in 2008, driven by a joint passion for both electronic music and retro synths. The music they produce can be described as electronic pop with catchy choruses and memorable riffs that are prominent in all of their songs, making them popular with a very wide audience.

Following their initial success on MySpace, Static Rain continues to build a solid fan base and a strong reputation as a live act. The band is currently looking for gigs from June 09 onwards throughout the whole of the UK.

Just a note of thanks for inviting me to play at The Winelight Session at The Met Bury.
It was a pleasure and a honour to play. The room was packed and the crowd was attentive to every vocal note and chord change.

Loved playing last night after the nerves had died down.

We all said it's a great place to play. Professional,mature,friendly - just great.
