Hi Spen

Let's make some plans is an absolute classic slice of c86 pop!!

I have a slightly rougher version of the song that I will send to you that I actually prefer. The lyrics are slightly different as well. :)

I love Wake The President!

Alright Spence?: Thanx for the comment. Tele is a '66, bought it in '89 for peanuts! That Jag I bought from Tank (Nightingales, Goldblade, M's Telegram) was a '64 & I wish I hadn't traded it to One Way Music in the late 80's for a Kawai synthesizer (I kid you not:- Doh!!).

Yep Scruples nightclub has long gone! Saw many a good 80's indie gig there, promoted by my mate Jonah (June Brides, Shop Assistants, Weather Prophets springs to mind!). Also I remember seeing Neon Hearts there earlier when it was Wolverhampton Sports & Social Club! (I like being an old git!).

Hope you are well! Dave

Thanks, Spence! Just got back...It was odd, but fun! A bit like playing in a working mens' club.
Maybe see you in Nottingham or Leicester? Best, Phil

Great, your story on the Tuxedomoon page!
I was at the London gig and then went to stay with a friend who's apt was about 2 km from Snaresbrook station. And even at midnight the rain was still torrential...
