Sounds Like
It’s like nothing you’ve ever heard before really. And you’ll probably never hear it the same way again. The WiseAcres are a blend of South-Kasold Punk, Lecompton Grass, and North-Lawrence Folk, topped with signature twang straight out of Billtown of Rural Township.
Imagine for a moment being sucked into a powerful whirlwind, a vortex so strong you lose all sense of space, time, sight, and sound. Your moral compass of what’s right and what’s wrong is spinning like a top. When the chaos subsides you see the world differently. Your senses are clearer. You’re thirsty. You feel both sickened and aroused at the same time. You feel great, energized, and sublime. You’ve just entered the WiseAcre Zone!
**Please read the following message before attending a WiseAcre performance**
Do you have feelings of inadequacy? Do you suffer from shyness? Do you sometimes wish you were more assertive? If you answered yes to any of these questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist about attending a WiseAcre show.
Our shows are a safe, natural way to feel better and more confident about yourself. Dancing at one of our shows can help ease you out of your shyness and let you tell the world that you’re ready and willing to do just about anything. You will notice the benefits of the WiseAcres almost immediately, and with a regimen of regular shows you can overcome any obstacles that prevent you from living the life you want to live. Shyness and awkwardness will be a thing of the past, and you will discover many talents you never knew you had. Stop hiding and start living, with a little help from the WiseAcres.
Our shows may not be right for everyone. Do not operate heavy machinery within several hours following a WiseAcre show. Women who are pregnant or nursing should not drink with the band. However, women who wouldn’t mind nursing or becoming pregnant are encouraged to try it. Side effects may include dizziness, nausea, vomiting, incarceration, erotic lustfulness, loss of motor control, loss of clothing, loss of money, loss of virginity, delusions of grandeur, table dancing, headache, dehydration, dry mouth, and a desire to sing Karaoke and play all-night rounds of Strip Poker, Truth Or Dare, and Naked Twister.
We're always looking for an excuse to travel to Lawrence.
If you need to find us in the Pecan Grove, look for the mass exodus of disgusted people complaining about the band that sucks, walk against the grain and you'll eventually find us doing our thing.
Just took a look at theWiseAcres. net site. Definitely has promise. Congrats on a good time at Kallipalooza. AND, thanks to those who made it possible for us to play the event.
