Allan and Alvin were born under the Aquarius zodiacal sign, the sign of creativity, from a flemish father and a filipina mother. They begun following music lessons at 5 years old and piano at 9. The same year, they started composing songs and piano pieces.
Until now, their desire is to compose music with a magical, hypnotising and lasting impact. They like to listen to all kinds of music that have the capacity to create emotions: rock, pop, gothic metal, electronica, triphop, classical music (the impressionists), film music, soul, psychedelic, techno-jungle-drum'n'bass...
At university (Allan studied Sociology, and Drawing at an Art School. Alvin studied journalism and scriptwriting), they started their rock band with Sandra Arslanian (who stayed a couple of years then later appeared as a guest during concerts). The band would last 6 years. Later on, Alvin was the singer of the punk-rock band ALESTER and Allan was the keyboard player for MOONPIE. They played at the Botanique, Place de la Monnaie (for Amnesty International), the Fête de la Musique of 2002...and were selected for a couple of rock competitions.
They recorded in several STUDIOS: Studio Moliere with Eric Renwart, Studio La Chapelle with Bjorn, Marlene Studio and Studio Ubik with Jerôme Heiderscheidt, Jarod Studio with Olivier Sterbik, Avalon Studios with André Bontems, the SAE studios and at the Rockfabirek...It's also a great pleasure for them to collaborate with arrangers, giving them the opportunity to produce a sound that a voice and a piano alone can't give. Alvin also sang for DJ Magicut.
In 2004, one of their songs was noticed by a young producer, Gérald Lambert (singer/songwriter Arker) and selected to be part of a Belgian bands compilation, "10 Bands from the 10 Belgian Provinces": they played at the Ward'in Rock festival, at the FNAC of Antwerp and at the Kultuurkaffee.

To satisfy his different style aspirations (rock, pop, classical, electro, hiphop rythmics, soul), Alvin launched his solo ACOUSTIC piano/voice project, singing in english as well as in french. He recorded a demo directed by Daphné D'Heur. View some videos (big thanks to Jennifer Witdoeck!) on this page! He is also playing in a POP-ROCK-ELECTRO-ACOUSTIC duo with Seesayle (A moi, Des hauts et des bas). In 2008 he collaborated with VJ/Arranger Snoisev and recorded an electro-pop demo. Alvin is now recording his first pop/rock EP with producer-musician Marco Locurcio. The EP will be out in October 2009.

Both brothers also love acting. They played in a couple of short films and Alvin did some voice-over for radio, short-films and documentaries. Allan played in a full length film in Los Angeles in 2008 and this year has been selected at East15 in London, one of the best acting schools. "Enjoy life!!"

Les frères jumeaux, Allan et Alvin, commencent le solfège à Paris, à l'âge de 5 ans, avec leur mère, originaire des Philippines. C'est à 9 ans que les frères commencent le piano et composent leurs premières chansons.
Entrés à l'unif (Allan fait des études de Sociologie, puis de dessin, Alvin, des études de journalisme, puis d'écriture de scénario) les frères commencent à faire des auditions en cachette...
Au terme de leur premier cycle d'études, ils décident finalement de mettre leur propre groupe sur pied, avec une amie, Sandra Arslanian (qui reste quelques années puis apparaît comme "guest" durant certains concerts). Durant ces années, ils enregistrent 4 démos (Studio Molière, Studio La Chapelle, Rockfabriek, Kibret's Studio...) et font une trentaine de concert (Botanique, Place de la Monnaie (Amnesty International), Fête de la Musique 2002, Centre Culturel de Schaerbeek, Fête de Kraainem, La Cambre...).
En 2004, une de leur chanson se retrouve sur la compilation "10 Bands from the 10 Belgian Provinces" produit par Gérald Lambert (Arker). Ils jouent au Ward'in Rock festival, à la Fnac d'Anvers et au KultuurKaffee...Ensuite, les frères collaborent avec d'autres formations. Ils jouent notamment au Botanique à l'Ihecstival.
En 2005, Alvin s'investit comme chanteur dans Alester, un groupe de rock namurois, et enregistre une 5ème démo dans les studios de la SAE. Allan est claviériste intérimaire du groupe rock bruxellois Moonpie. En même temps, Alvin termine une 6ème démo avec Olivier Sterbik. Une chanson est en écoute sur cette page.
En 2007, Alvin s'associe à Jérôme Heiderscheidt, arrangeur spécialisé dans l'électro/triphop/hiphop. Deux morceaux sont en écoute ici.
Pour réaliser leur son de rêve (un mélange de rock, pop, classique, électro, rythmique hiphop, soul), The Wizard of Odds se lance dans différents projets où les styles diffèrent mais se rejoignent.
Ainsi, Alvin travaille en parallèle sur son projet ACOUSTIQUE piano/voix: extrait de la démo dirigée par Daphné D'Heur et vidéos sur cette page (grand merci à Jennifer Witdoeck) et son duo POP-ROCK-ELECTRO-ACOUSTIQUE avec la talentueuse chanteuse et muti-instrumentiste Seesayle. Ils viennent d'enregistrer une démo (écoutez les 2 chansons en FR). En 2008, Alvin collabore avec un arrangeur/VJ d'Anvers et enregistre une démo électro-pop. En ce moment, il enregistre son premier EP pop/rock avec le producteur-musicien Marco Locurcio. Sortie prévue en octobre 2009.
Alvin a aussi joué sur l'album du groupe rock Afota.
Les frères sont aussi fortement attirés par le jeu d'acteur. Ils prennent des cours de théâtre et jouent dans quelques court et long-métrages. Alvin a aussi prêté sa voix pour la radio et des documentaires. En 2008, Allan tourne dans un long-métrage à Los Angeles. Cette année, il a été retenu à East15, une des meilleures écoles d'acteur à Londres.
