The Wonder Bar

.. This is the bar where Springsteen first saw "The Big Man" perform. The waterfront redevelopment is progressing nicely, and the Wonder Bar has boldly stepped up to the plate, bringing you a new look with our old friend Tillie.

The "old" Wonder Bar once bragged "The longest bar in the world," and they boasted of being "The Largest Bar in The World." The claim was that there was a mile or a mile and a half of bar top. The bar wrapped around the room! We can't know if there was a mile of bar but what the hell, who's gonna' measure? So we're stickin' with it!

NEED DIRECTIONS?

The Wonder Bar is located at the southwest corner of Ocean Avenue and 5th Street, across from Asbury Park's Convention Hall/Paramount Theater and McLoone's. If you have driven into the ocean, you passed us -- we're on the other side of the Boardwalk, just before the Atlantic! We are sure you have heard of the Stony Pony!! well - we're exactly 3 blocks north of the Stone Pony.

FROM MAIN STREET:
From Main Street you will pass a number of streets, then right onto Fifth, just before the Park. The Wonder Bar is at the end of the street, on the right side, on the corner of Fifth and Ocean Ave. Parking is available on all streets in the area. There is NO parking in the driveway of the Wonder Bar.
