I'm a man, and as far as you know I'm as masculine as they come. I color my hair, use expensive body wash, pay for 'salon' product, and do believe shoes and accessories can make an outfit. I have a middle name that precisely describes my calling in life, to be a Christ follower. I love bagels, but don't enjoy celery unless it's with peanut butter. I often miss my grandmother, but am thankful to have had a grandmother at all. I'm bestfriends with my sister, and love my mother deeper than even I'll ever truly be able to verbally express. I LOVE going out, and being with people, but also appreciate my quiet time to reset my mind. Music is my blood and my iTunes library is more extensive than I realized possible, ever expanding daily. I'm a graphic designer, but no, I can't draw. I think in poetry and sing in harmony by default. I once played in front of 6000 people, and can't wait to find out if the Lord intends to use me for that again in the future. A couple of my best friends are worship rockstars and I'm pretty lucky to call them brothers. My other 3 best friends are a professional guitarist, a lawyer and a barista. I like to diversify. I make my bed every morning, and have become, in recent time, a 'cat' person, despite previously being a 'dog-ONLY-person'. I'm a fun person to be around, and am always attempting to make you think or laugh. I have a big heart, and a solid spirit, and am, generally, hard to anger. I am comfortable in my own skin, but am always looking for ways to improve myself. I'm a passionate kisser, and a generous hugger. I pray over my food, because it too deserves to be blessed, and the hands that prepared it deserve to be recognized by the ultimate Creator of the Universe. When I pray, I prefer to be in physical contact with those I'm praying with, to complete the prayer chain. I can recite to you nearly all of John Mayer's lyrics, can recommend you listen to David Ryan Harris and Sara Barielles, and can play "Let That Be Enough" for you on guitar. I also enjoy wrestling live lions and rattlesnakes, on the weekends. I'm so masculine, I sweat Nascar races.
"For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run his or her fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge you'll never walk alone."
– Audrey Hepburn

Who I'd like to meet: A friend (Dr. J. Truth Dunn) once put it eloquently as such:
Myspace is mostly for friendships. However, if you want to know what I value... here it is.
I am looking for a woman who is fiercely independent, comfortable in her own skin, and unafraid of her sensuality. I value intelligence, intuition, and a keen sense of humor. I am attracted to natural beauty, coming from within and radiating outwards, accented by smile lines that are not hidden under a pound of commercial placebo. I want someone who expresses affection through words and actions. I need someone who values communication over sophistication. I hope for someone whose strong will is matched only by her compassion.
In addition to that, I hope for someone who is passionately in love with her God, and who's only desire is to serve Him fully in all that she does.
** I am blessed, INCREDIBLY blessed, to say that I've found that woman, and am proud to call Ms. Cochran my girlfriend. **

Hola from Denver! I had to stop in an upscale pet shop (all decked out for "Pride" Weekend so there were rainbow dog capes all over) just to pet the resident dog there... I miss my Em! Loved the photo you posted on tumblr of your 'precious girl'-- glad she's feeling better!!
Hola, that Latino museum event sounds great but if one were truly cheap one would see that, unless one is a card-carrying student, one pays $10 for the movie. BUT still-- tacos? dancing? SALSA??? oh, yeah.
So I was so proud of you today when we spoke at the church office. You carry yourself with efficiency and grace and usefulness there. And your comments about the brochure I brought were sensible and honest. I appreciated that. Love you so much, son!
Been bombarded with lots of news of the world that doesn't look the same way it did when I was growing up. Thought I'd post this up. The song is called "They Cry". This is from the upcoming "Rain and Son" album. Beat by Hooli.
Check it out and let me know what you think. All opinions are respected and appreciated. Peace, world.

This is a song that was written and sung in Hawai'ian about the story of when the Rich Young Ruler met Jesus and asked Him what he needed to do to inherit eternal life. We performed this at our vespers service at Fresno Spanish SDA Church entitled "Friday Night Lights".
The name of the song is "Iesu me ke kanaka waiwai".
The band features: Roi on bass guitar Quique on guitar James on lead guitar Andrew on ukulele Jackie and Jaylene on vocals and me :)
