Sounds Like
Smooth, easy and pensive all at once. Creepy, self-indulgent back-slapping true crime country. Feels like 11 p.m. on day three of a tequila bender sans the citrus bloat and poxy face misery. Massaged country for the fattening of the non-working class. Easy going, reflective American individualism wrapped in a cotton candy cowboy pie.
We play "nominally adjusted country" from the nation's heartland, only, for all nations. We tend to be relaxed though we've given up all hope for an easy life. A feller should just chill when things get tough, right? It's just easier to submit and let Clem give you real treats on the pedal steel. He's that good--he will make you smile, and the rest of us will try our hardest not to get in the way of your good time.
Oh yeah, fuck Kenny Chesney in the neck.
Currently, we're playing locally here in the greater Houston area BUT if you or someone you know would like to book the band or our acoustic duo show we'll travel just about anywhere. Drop me a line at mike@parrish-hundley.com!!!!
