Meet the band

We are the Workaholics. We are the guys that burn the midnight oil. We never stop working. Only one thing can distract us: our passion for music. We make music for real people. People with problems that require solutions. Each song tells a tale. A tale of people you may know, have met or have heard of.

We were formed in 2006 and we come from and live in Athens, Greece except from Cookieman who came from Brussels on vacations and soon found himself a registered Greek. We work hard to deliver our music to all those who can enjoy and appreciate it. Our music influences are countless, so we put extra care in our effort to give our songs their own individual character. The rest will always be up to you, the listener.

We have performed some 30 explosive gigs in most of Athens' best known live stages. In 2007, we ranked among the top 20 Coca-Cola Soundwave bands. Having competed with more than 8000 bands from 19 countries, our songs "Miss the Girl" and "Astroboy" hit No 5 on the Greek and European charts respectively. The appeal we had among the voting audience and the jury rewarded us with an opening act for top Greek band Raining Pleasure, as well as a gig on the main stage of the European Music Day 2007 in Athens.

We have also been selected and showcased by IndieSolo dot com, as one of their "365 best indie bands in the world" online project. Our song "Astroboy" was voted track of the week by the producers of the online Dutch radio Music Promo Station. In November 2007 we collaborated with 272 Records, a California based independent label. Our first US release was in the "Power Pop Overthrow Vol. 2" compilation, through amazon dot com and distributed to college radio stations. In May 2010 we were very appreciative of being asked to open for The Black Heart Procession on both of their sold out Athens gigs.
