We are the Workaholics. We are the guys who burn the midnight oil. We never stop working. Only one thing can distract us: our passion for music. We make music for real people. People with problems that require solutions. Each song tells a tale. A tale of people you may know, have met or have heard of.
We were formed in late 2005 and we come from and live in Athens, except from Cookieman who came from Brussels on vacations and soon found himself a registered Greek. We work hard to deliver our music to all those who can enjoy and appreciate it. Our music influences are countless, so we put extra care in our effort to give our songs their own individual character. The rest will always be up to you, the listener.
We have performed some 20 explosive gigs in most of Athens' best known live stages. In 2007, we ranked among the top 20 Coca-Cola Soundwave bands. Having competed with more than 8000 bands from 19 countries, our songs "Miss the Girl" and "Astroboy" hit No 5 on the Greek and European charts respectively. The appeal we had among the voting audience and the jury brought us 2 more gigs, one of which was on the main stage of the European Music Day 2007 in Athens.
We have also been selected and showcased by IndieSolo.com, as one of their "365 best indie bands in the world" online project. Our song "Astroboy" was voted "Track of the week" by the producers of the online Dutch radio station Music Promo Station. In November 2007 we collaborated with 272 Records, a California based independent label. Our first US release was in the "Power Pop Overthrow Vol. 2" compilation, through amazon.com and distributed to college radio stations.
We’ve just completed the production of our debut album. Its 15 tracks were recorded/mixed at Artracks Studio, Athens and mastered at Sterling Sound, New York.
